The APM Body of Knowledge 7th Edition provides a fundamental resource for understanding and developing professional project management. It reflects the growing profession, and recognizes that the importance of projects for leaders, decision makers and influencers at all levels, and across all sectors.

Project Management software is designed to aid in the planning, scheduling, tracking and delivery processes. It offers features such as Gantt charts, Kanban boards, a real-time dashboard for time tracking, and collaboration tools to help project managers manage tasks, projects and individuals.

Stakeholders are usually classified into two groups: primary and secondary stakeholders. Primary stakeholders are key decision-makers who are actively involved in the project and hold considerable influence over the results. Secondary stakeholders may be present at meetings or have only a small part in the project, but they don’t have much influence.

There are a variety of different kinds of project management methodologies. Some of the most popular include lean and agile methods as well as heuristics, critical chain and project management.
